Located inside the Provo Towne Centre Mall in Provo, Utah, one can view an automobile collection of privately owned vehicles. The vehicles are sourced from people who want to store their own vehicles inside a climate controlled building. It’s a unique business model, one that I have never heard of before. Automotive Addiction offers owners of exotic and collectible cars a place to store their cars for a monthly fee, plus they must agree to have their cars on display at the mall.
Automotive Addiction has two locations, the aforementioned location in Provo and another inside The Shops at South Town Mall in Sandy, Utah. My visit was at the Provo Towne Centre Mall. Admission was $8 per person, which was fair for viewing the small amount of vehicles that they currently had on display. The cars on display change frequently, as the owners take their cars back home and others place their cars at the facility. I’m sure the amount of vehicles on display is highest during the winter months. Utah’s weather produces a lot of snow, which means a lot of road salt on the roads, not something most owners of high-end vehicles want to subject their cars to.
You might ask, is Automotive Addiction worth visiting? If you are passionate about exotic and collector cars, and/or even curious about what other people might own, we believe it certainly is worth your time.
